It’s true that Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle makes some larger than life claims and has a lot of seemingly outlandish testimonials on it’s sales page.
It’s also true that it costs more than an average hard cover book. If you read through the rather long website you’ll no doubt be wondering if this product really is legitimate or some kind of crazy scam.
The idea behind the program is however, an intriguing one.
Every day a new fat loss program comes out and it’s getting increasingly hard to tell the scams from the genuine ones so…
Let’s put this baby to the test before you spend any money on it.
First let’s take a look at author Tom Venuto. Venuto has appeared in numerous magazines including Ironman, Men’s Fitness, Men’s Exercise and Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness. He’s also written the national bestseller The Body Fat Solution. Oprah Magazine even included a blurb about his latest book.
As a bodybuilder, it’s not surprising that Venuto’s system is based on “fat burning secrets of fitness models and bodybuilders”. Check out a picture of him on the website and you’ll see he’s in excellent shape – six packed and jacked. Venuto says he has never had anything to do with steroids and has competed in drug-tested competitions for over twenty years.
I did a bit more research and found that Burn The Fat was the top selling downloadable book for 4 consecutive years. Most ebooks haven’t existed for that long, let alone been that successful. I also noted that most New York publishers wouldn’t go near a flash in the pan author so I reckon there’s a fair bit of credibility here.
So does this thing actually work?
The basic premise of Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is that fitness competitors and bodybuilders are the leanest people on the planet. Venuto actually got down to 3.7% body fat on the day of one contest. So the logic is that if we can follow the same things that these guys do then we’ll get the same results. Seems reasonable. But there’s no magic bullet here.
Reading through Burn The Fat, it’s clear that you’re not going to get a 6 pack stomach or a super fit body simply by working out a few minutes per day and eating junky foods. You’ll learn that the real secret is to change your lifestyle and adopt healthier eating and exercising habits to replace your existing habits that have made you fat. You’ll also learn that to get ‘ripped’ your nutritional habits need to be highly disciplined.
The Burn The Fat website is covered in testimonials from all sorts of different people of all ages. I thought I’d do a little extra research though, just in case these testimonials were not exactly genuine. So I hopped onto Google and found the Burn The Fat Facebook group. This group has several thousand members, all supporting each other as they implement the Burn The Fat program. There’s also the Burn The Fat Inner Circle which is a paid online community of thousands of people all supporting each other. Membership to this site doesn’t come with the downloadable book.
I dug a little deeper and found many positive reviews of Burn The Fat along with dozens of before and after pictures of people who have successfully used the system. There was also a fair amount of YouTube videos and several blogs dedicated to recording people’s progress with the system.
Given my research, I would say that Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is probably the most trustworthy and established fat loss systems on the internet. It’s been around since 2002 and there’s tons of third party testimonials and proof that it actually works. Of course, this method has already been working for bodybuilders for years.
So the only question remaining is, will it work for YOU?
Well there’s proof that it works, and it’s a best seller. However, it’s probably going to appeal mostly to certain types of people. First of all, there’s effort and time investment involved. But then I suspect you already knew that nothing comes for free. It takes dedicated, disciplined hard work to make this system work and achieve permanent fat loss in a natural way (compared to some fat loss programs where supplements or drugs are involved for short term weight loss).
You need to know that this program is mainly based around nutrition – creating menu plans, crunching numbers and counting calories are required activities. Although this approach may not be for everyone, there are a lot of advantages in this kind of attention to detail. A lot of people prefer just to estimate the size of their eating portions. Burn The Fat is most likely perfect for those who like structure and detailed planning (mathematicians, physic buffs, engineers and accountants will just love it). If you’re one of those people who like to know why you’re doing something rather than just being told to do it then you’ll really get on well with the 300 plus pages of Burn The Fat. It’s very thorough.
The bottom line is this:
Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is probably not for you if you’re looking for a magic pill solution and you don’t want to exercise or count the calories.
On the other hand, if you’ve tried every diet trend and fad out there with minimal success and you really want to know the (often uncomfortable) truth about fat loss; If you are willing to make lifestyle changes and are looking for a detailed plan to follow (however disciplined) then you’ll find Burn The Fat is a fantastic investment and fulfills all of it’s claims. You’ll burn off the fat, lose that belly, keep your muscles and eat properly at the same time.
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s certainly no scam. Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is effective and legitimate. Find out more at the official website at http://www.BurnTheFat.com
