* Seated Torso Twist – Get into a seated pose for this burning belly fat exercise. Bend knees so feet lay flat on floor. Position feet apart at a distance approximating hip width.

Straighten out arms in front and interlock fingers. Contract the abs while leaning back at a 45-degree angle. Hold the contraction then rotate torso as far toward one side as you can.

Control this motion using abdominals so the upper body is able to move quickly. Avoid leading with arms. Keep both arms in front with the fingers linked. The position resembles that of when you aim a gun at something. Once done rotating as far as is comfortable, start rotating back toward the center and then move to the opposite side.

Repeat all the steps to complete one full set. Do this slowly and make sure to maintain controlled movements to avoid your momentum twisting you.

* Hip Lifts – Lie on back on whatever flat surface is handy, but the floor will do for this burning belly fat exercise. Cushion spine with a towel or mat. Place your arms at your sides, palms up. Have legs positioned straight in the air.

This ensures that soles of the feet face the ceiling and legs make a rough 90-degree angle with the torso. Keep knees unbent and straight.

Contract the abdominal muscles. The feeling resembles that of a bellybutton being tugged in the direction of the spine. While doing this, lift the hips gently away from floor. Hips should be raised a few inches and legs stretched upward.

Hold this pose then lower hips back gradually to the floor. Another round of these activities makes for a single set completed.
